New Jersey, my childhood home, and Pennsylvania, where I honed my craft at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, and Maine have been the canvas of my life. The miles I've traversed between these two states are not just journeys; they're odysseys of inspiration, each stretch of road a potential muse waiting to be discovered.
The rocky coastlines of Maine and Nova Scotia have become an irresistible sanctuary for my artistic spirit. Time spent in these coastal realms, with their rugged beauty and cool, contemplative nights, has become a profound source of inspiration.
Still life painting is not just a practice for me; it's a profound passion that has woven its way into the very fabric of my artistic identity.
Creating small oil studies is an invigorating process for me—an immediate and authentic response to the scenes that captivate my imagination.
I have always painted in water color from the very first time I picked up a brush. It is my first impression of an image I may or may not take further as an oil painting.
