 Watercolor and gouache has always been one of my favorite painting media allowing me the freedom to create images over several hours plein air as a sketch  . They serve as my initial impressions  capturing the essence of scenes that beckon my artistic attention. These creative notes act as a springboard, influencing my decision to delve into more elaborate compositions in oil or larger studio watercolors at a later time or simply consider them to be complete as they are.
